Gourmet Breakfast: Global Flavors with Vermont Fresh Ingredients and a Talented Chef
Half of a bed and breakfast is, well... breakfast! We have elevated breakfast to an art form. We want you to experience the many tastes of locally grown, natural, organic produce and baked goods. Our European style continental breakfast changes with the seasons, as do fruits and vegetables. But you will always find something delightful for your palate.
We focus on fresh. Seasonal fruits and vegetables, paired with cream, cheeses and yogurt from Cabot and other local dairies. Breads, muffins, pastries and bagels from our local bakeries. Organic cereals, whole or skim milk, oatmeal in the cold months and a variety of juices. Real Vermont dairy butter, homemade fruit spreads and Vermont maple syrup top our condiment list.
Our signature "New Fashioned Fruitcake" is a delectable natural ingredient sweet bread made exclusively for us by Michelle. Round it off with organic coffee from Vermont Coffee Company, an assortment of Green Mountain coffees and teas made "on demand" in our Keurig system, and we don't think you'll find a fresher, better breakfast anywhere!
Please enjoy our wonderful breakfasts cooked-to-order each morning, serving up delicious seasonal selections. Breakfast is presented every morning from 9:00-10:00 AM in our dining room, but feel free to bring your meal through the french doors and into the library or out into the adjacent garden. If you have any special requests regarding allergies, diets, or time changes, it is crucial to let our staff know in advance.
